The clubhouse is perfectly suited to serve as the gathering place for family, friends and the hub of social activity.

Swimming

The pool area is situated next to the clubhouse. It features a Junior Olympic size pool and a separate pool for the little ones. During the swim season the pool is open seven days a week with lifeguards on duty during pool hours. Cowan’s Ford sponsors a swim team and hosts area swim meets. With its generous seating capacity and sun umbrellas, the pool deck offers an excellent site for birthday parties, children and family entertainment events, adult events, and holiday celebrations.

Tennis & Pickleball

The court facility includes two regulation size Tennis courts and six Pickleball courts. The courts are hard surface and lighted for evening play. There is also a practice backboard on the Tennis side for those players wanting to hone their skills.

Lake Access

Sunsets at the 26 mile long Lake Norman are exquisite. They provide a welcome calmness to an active day. Cowan’s Ford Golf Club has brought all the beauty and fun of Lake Norman right to your fingertips. A private boat launch area is available for the exclusive use of club members and their guests. Lake Norman is extraordinarily popular for fishing as well as other water sports such as water skiing, tubing and jet skiing.

Social Activities

Camaraderie, friendships, and fun are a part of all our social activities here at Cowan's Ford Golf Club. Our extraordinary restaurant team provides a variety of culinary arrangements for different occasions. Events range from holiday celebration brunches to tournament banquets, weddings, parties, children’s entertainment and Shag Dance nights. Regular bridge games are a part of the social fabric too.
