Is Cowan’s Ford a Private, Semi-Private, or Public Club?
Yes, Cowan’s Ford is a Private, Non Profit Club.
Who owns the Club?
The Club is made up of Equity and Non Equity members. Equity members however have ownership in the Club.
What is the difference between an Equity and a Non Equity member?
Equity Golf members have ownership in the Club and are eligible for a refund. Equity Golf members may bestow a Legacy membership and/or transfer their membership to an immediate family member. In addition, this membership also receives a guest pass once a month.
Does Cowan’s Ford have a Guest Policy?
We want our members to bring their friends to the club and show them our Great course and clubhouse but we do limit the number of times a guest may visit. Each member may bring as many different guests in a months time as they like but may bring the same guest only two times a month. We are a non profit club and do not advertise so if you bring the same guest two times a month several months in a row we will want to contact them for membership. After all, we want your friends to be members too.
What are the guest fees?
18 Holes 9 Holes
Monday thru Friday $62 $33
Saturday, Sunday & Holidays $72 $38
Monday thru Thursday $45 $26

Cart fees and other fees?
Cart fees are $21 for 18 holes and $10.50 for 9 holes. Annual fees - Locker - $75; Handicap - $29.
How many rounds of golf are played each year?
On average between 26,000 and 28,000 rounds are played on the course each year.
Dress Code
The following rules apply to the clubhouse:
1. Clothing worn in the clubhouse should always present a neat and clean appearance.
2. Gentlemen – Slacks and shorts. Must be of conservative tailoring. Shorts must be Bermuda-length. Shirts should always be tucked in unless designed otherwise. Cut-offs and sweat pants are not permitted.
3. Ladies – Skirts, slacks and shorts must be of conservative tailoring and conservative cut. Leggings are acceptable. Cut-offs and sweat pants are not permitted.
4. Swimming attire, along with proper cover-ups is acceptable in the Bistro. Shoes or other footwear are required.
5. Caps and hats must be worn with the brim facing forward.
The following rules apply to the golf course, chipping green, practice range, and putting green:
1. Clothing worn on the golf course, chipping green, practice range, and putting green should always present a neat and clean appearance.
2. Gentlemen – Shirts with a collar including mock turtlenecks are acceptable. Shirts should always be tucked in. Slacks and shorts must be of conservative tailoring. Shorts must be Bermuda-length. Tank tops, t-shirts, cut-offs, sweat pants, athletic shorts, swim trunks, tennis shorts and denim jeans & denim shorts are not permitted.
3. Ladies – Skirts, slacks and shorts must be of conservative tailoring and conservative cut. Leggings are acceptable only when worn under a skirt or shorts. Tank tops, t-shirts, cut-offs, halter-tops, sweat pants, athletic shorts, swimsuits, and denim jeans & denim shorts are not permitted.
4. Changing of dress should be done in the locker rooms or restrooms. It is acceptable to change shoes in the parking lot.
5. Caps and hats must be worn with the brim facing forward.
